9 months: educational games

If the child still does not sit down on his own, then be sure to consult a doctor. The main thing is not to miss the neurological pathology, which often manifests itself only at the end of the first year of life. Many diseases that have formed in utero cannot be diagnosed immediately after birth.

According to the recommendations of the World Health Organization (WHO), at 9 months, the child needs to eat food in pieces. If before you used a blender or prepared homogeneous mashed potatoes, then from 9 months it is worth giving up on them. Just boil the vegetables and knead them with a fork (so that the slices are safe). So the child will get used to the fact that food does not have a homogeneous structure. In addition, this is an important stage for the development of the maxillofacial apparatus in principle and the formation of the chewing process in particular. Do not delay with this.

Psychology
Traveling with a child is now becoming more difficult. He really does not like to go beyond the familiar environment and things. A banal visit may come with tears. But after a while the baby gets used to it, realizes that his mother is nearby, and calmly plays in an unfamiliar environment. In addition, he can often check to see if you are here. It is important for him to know that close people are nearby and he is safe.

The kid is already well versed in a familiar environment. He knows exactly where his toys are, where are the books, how are the rooms in the apartment located. Many freely creep around the apartment, and therefore the whole apartment should become a safe area for children.

He knows who mom and dad are and recognizes himself in the mirror. He begins to become aware of himself as a separate person. This is an important stage of growing up.

Skills
♦ He sits down and sits quietly on his own.

♦ Can move in different ways: crawling on all fours, sitting, in a plastic manner (on his stomach).

♦ Many can independently stand at the support and move along it.

♦ Take a few steps, holding the hand of an adult.

♦ Give the item on the request “give” and take on the request “on”.

♦ May show some parts of the body: nose, mouth, eyes (while on the face of the parent)

♦ Onomatopoeia may appear: trying to imitate sounds and speech.

♦ Takes on its own slices of food from a plate.

He actively moves around the house, so the whole apartment should be as safe as possible. Be sure to lock all household chemicals. Children can swallow a plate cleaner or taste the laundry detergent a lot faster than you think. This is extremely dangerous! All household chemicals should be stored out of the reach of the child.

How to play
All kinds of educational games – this is the basis of classes at this age. Please note that the parts must be large so that the child cannot swallow them, and safe in composition and color. Most children will want to try the bright and beautiful details of the constructor, sorter or logic puzzle.

Encourage your child emotionally for any attempt to perform the action correctly. This will support his self-confidence and encourage him to strive for more.

What feels and how it behaves
The child’s vision is almost equivalent to an adult. He can see well both far and close, he can focus his eyes and follow a fast-moving object. Hands and eyes are coordinated, motor skills develop with vision. So, for example, a baby can see a toy at the other end of the room and crawl to it.

The baby’s sleep is about 12-16 hours a day. Some children can sleep for 2 hours in a row during the day, while others, on the contrary, sleep for 20-30 minutes, but several times.

The hearing of the child is already well developed. He knows his name and responds to it. If you ask “Where is dad?”, He tries to look for dad with his eyes.

How speech develops
Try to pronounce the name of things. The child begins to understand that everything has its own name. He will very soon identify words with objects. Now there is a process of accumulating a passive vocabulary. Very soon, when the baby begins to speak, these words will come in handy.

Parents task
The child understands how to get your attention. Try to communicate more with him, so he learns more about his native language. Now he is forming independence. You need to encourage this desire, and very soon you will be surprised at your adult baby.

Now is the time for the baby’s temperament to manifest. Some are calm and balanced, others, on the contrary, mischievous pranksters. Some are smiling and funny, others are shy and modest. Whatever your baby is, he has his own opinion on what is happening.
